QPR Training Hard Ahead of New Seasons

QPR's men and co-ed teams practiced together as they have for the last three weeks today in Downsview.

Practice has focused first and foremost on conditioning (with lots of long-distance, interval and sprint running) but also on getting the rust off touch on the ball.

"The tryouts are proceeding well, I see some promising talent", says QPR player/coach Fasano.

"We're waiting for the indoor seasons to end so we can get many of our players back and might be able to practice as a full squad", Fasano continued, making the point that the indoor seasons have been robbing the outdoor men's team of a significant number of players who would otherwise join the rest of the group for training.

"Above all, I'm happy to see quite the turn out from the ladies on the co-ed team, who have shown up consistently every week. Some of them come to practice although they have indoor games starting immediately after practice!", Fasano concluded.
